The front yard #2
Our new instant front lawn arrived on the back of a truck last Sunday morning. By late Monday it was all laid out except for the ‘patches’, which we finished the following day. This photo was taken on Wednesday. The bit to the right is the nature strip, which I’m NOT doing, although the new grass will most likely spread into it anyway, as it’s a very vigorous grower. We’ve been really lucky with the weather with heaps of rain over the last few days, which has really helped to establish it and I’ll probably be cutting it within another week or so. It costs a lot and it’s hard & dirty work, but I think it really sets the property off and adds heaps of ’street appeal’ (and $ value too, I hope!)

Wally says: I'm taking y'all to VCAT, Woolies. Go on, git! Git out of 'my town'.

Instant lawn = instant mowing. Better you then me Ray. l’m glad you took a photo as it may never look that good again – particularly with a dry summer.
Well, it’s pretty well ‘drought proof’, this one Greg. It’s Kikuyu, almost impossible to kill! I don’t mind mowing it. Besides, Bright is blessed with a lot more rain than other areas – we’re not even on restrictions!
It’s looking better every time you put a photo up!
