You'd have to be a real moron to put this on your club's website. I think someone down there on the Surf Coast has had too many bongs.

According to a ‘breaking report’ on the Herald Sun website, this offensive image has had to be pulled from the Torquay Tigers football club’s website. The image appeared on the club’s website promoting an upcoming club social event dubiously named “All White Night” and showed men clad in full Ku Klux Klan costumes:
“It caught me by surprise, because I haven’t been on the website for a while. I didn’t know anything about it,” said Michael Coleman, Torquay Tigers club secretary.
“But I’m thinking ‘All White Night’ and hoping no one would find any racism in that. But the picture is likely to be the work of an individual person and it’s certainly not the club’s thoughts.”
The picture was withdrawn soon after it attracted widespread media attention, being replaced by Disney character Snow White.
But the club’s social on May 2 is still being promoted as an “All White Night” on the website homepage.

I think this is a job for Johnny Lee Clary the reformed racist turned evangelist and ex-Imperial Wizard of the infamous Ku Klux Klan, who is currently ‘on tour’ in Australia preaching equality and anti-racism to the masses who congregate in churches with funny names like Faith City.
Johnny did not take kindly to my sceptical post earlier this month titled Ku Klux Klan in our area, and in fact responded by branding me “a liar and a fraud”. He also said I was “mentally retarded”.
Well Johnny, maybe I can make it up to you by putting you in touch with the Torquay Tigers – HERE . The boys are obviously in need of a bit of your fire-breathing and God-fearing preaching on the evils of the Klan and who better to show them the error of their ways than the ex-head Klansman himself?

The problem with joining a club is you get lumped in with the idiots. The Tigers’ admin did exactly what was required, unlike the idiots from Ocean Grove who protected the fools who racially assaulted a Jew a few years ago.

A reformed racist like Mr Johnny Lee Clary still has a lot to learn about himself and a country that has a problem!
For starters when in an interview he refers to some of the things he used to do when he was a Klan member as “Rat bag things” he is only making light of the horrible truth. While I applaud him for finally seeing the light I am amazed that this former member of a TERRORIST organisation is not willing to admit the full truth as to how bad he really was. I do applaud Clary and I wish him the best but if he really wants to adress the problem then he has to be willing to peel off the top layer to get to the core.
The Klan is in Australia. Stephen Hagan was threatened by the Klan. A cronie of Pauline Hanson’s namely Peter Coleman the great exaulted cyclops was a member of One Nation.
