No ’round up’

Why did West Coast wait until round 12 to play this kid?

I know this will greatly disappoint many of you but I think I’ll leave the round-up of AFL round 12 until next week, after it’s finished.

There’s not much to talk about anyway, unless you think Carlton captain Chris Judd’s ‘horror head’ was blogworthy. I don’t, although it might make ‘lowlight of the round’.

As for highlights, well I guess you’d have to say the Friday night game between Carlton & St Kilda was one of the few high standard games we’ve had this year. I’m just glad the Saints held on to win it. They need this break.

The big kid from Fiji, Nick Naitanui, making his debut for West Coast was pretty good to see too.

It was also good to see that West Coast didn’t hype it up like Melbourne did with the unimpressive #1 draftee Jack Watts last week.

Unlike Watts, Naitanui looks like havingĀ a big future.

If there’s no round up then is this where I should post my comment about Judd looking like a gimp?

Yep. He looked like something out of a horror movie and I actually reckon it was unfair to let him back on. Unfair on him and unfair on the opposing players, who would not have felt like tackling him all that hard.
