Malcolm Turnbull unveils the Liberal Party's next brilliant attack on Kevin Rudd ~ 'The Debt Truck'.

So what’s the idea? Is Malcolm going to drive this thing around the country hoping like hell that ordinary Australians will see any correlation whatsoever between the message this billboard carries and their own financial position? And exactly what message does this send? Let’s look at what Malcolm is saying here:

  • “You shouldn’t have those $900 handouts, give those TVs and holidays back.”
  • “See that new community facility being built by the recent Federal Government grants at a cost of $1 million? We want that work to stop!”
  • “See those new homes being built under the extended first home-buyers grant? We’ll stop that!”
  • “And see those improvements at your local school, that’s reckless spending and your kids don’t deserve it.”

And I could go on. Poor Malcolm just doesn’t get it. Nor does his advertising agency.

    A fail-er trailer.

Pinched from the Poll Bludger. Someone else reckons they’re going to contact the terrorist hotline.

    So last-century, it’s embarrassing.

Ray, your index seems to be in need of a little attention. Where’s the swine flu thread?

Yeah, I must update that, Rox. But if you just scroll to the bottom of the home page and click on ‘older posts’ you’ll eventually find it.
