A possible resolution?

Posted in Bright Australia by Ray Dixon on 30 July, 2009

The local business ’group’ referred to in previous posts has finally responded in writing as requested. I’m not satisfied with their explanation but, nonetheless, they appear to be putting forward a possible resolution that would see our rights to ‘free trade’ reinstated. It had better be done and quickly.

UPDATE Saturday 1 August: As this matter has been resolved, I’ve turned the comments off. My thanks for all your positive support and I WILL be writing a summary about this unbelievable saga.

I hope it’s resolved quickly Ray – nasty business.

Baldrick – I think you should step up with the tips. Ray’s had a busy week.

    I’ll soon know, Rox.

Btw, Baldrick sent me his tips on Tuesday because he’s away at the moment (they mustn’t have computers where he’s going!) So I’ll have them all up in the next few hours as soon as I work out mine.

You wouldn’t believe the crap that is going on behind the scenes over this matter as we inch our way towards a resolution. Hopefully that’ll happen some time this afternoon.

Right now though, I’ve got to go to a bank and fork over some money – that I had already paid!

Make certain that you get a receipt/written promise that you will get it back, if worse comes to worse ?

Sorry Ray, but even after all this time, alarm bells are still ringing loudly ?
Tread softly ? and waringly !
