Give it a bone
Haven’t we all had enough of ‘Mad Dog’ Malkin?
Resident Save Bright nutter, Nick Malkin, has been at it again, getting himself in a lather over the (now completed) Woolworths supermarket development in Bright.
Malkin’s quotes from the Bright Observer about VCAT throwing out the Alpine council’s ridiculous appeal over the wall heights are a real hoot:
But engineer and objector, Nick Malkin, said the decision was a “miscarriage of justice”.
“We’ve got some wall heights up to 2.4 metres above what was originally endorsed – that’s a full storey,” he said.
“We’ve proven that the developer provided false and misleading information to the Shire and VCAT, so it follows that this decision is a miscarriage of justice and, in fact, irresponsible of VCAT.”
“In making this decision, VCAT has again pandered to big business and failed to protect the Alpine Planning Scheme from future developers taking advantage of it.”
Comment:
Geezus Nick, give it a bone. We’ve had 3 years of you (and Lee Rosser) carrying on like stuck records, and still you can’t accept this simple fact: you are wrong! Go away, shut up and let the rest of us enjoy this wonderful looking new building and the great benefits it will bring to Bright. Oh, and isn’t it about time you quit defaming others? At least you don’t confine your libellous words to me – now you’ve gone and defamed the developer and/or Woolworths! I wonder if they’ll bother suing you.
