It’s HATE COLLINGWOOD round

If it’s good enough for PM Julia Gillard to say it, then it’s good enough for me. I HATE COLLINGWOOD too and I’m glad she got that dig in. Unfortunately though, there’s a fair chance it might go down as famous last words, with both Collingwood and Abbott looking likely to spoil the party and pull off a rather unpalatable win in their respective races for the top position. Gotta laugh at Collingwood’s cheer squad leader Joffa though:

MAGPIES fanatic Joffa says Julia Gillard is “finished” after the Prime Minister declared her hatred for Collingwood.

“For a Prime Minister to jump on the anti-Collingwood bandwagon, I reckon it’s a bit poor,” Joffa said.

“The Greens have got my vote.

“Give us a break, we don’t need that stuff on the national political stage.

“I have gone to the Greens, she’s finished.”

Give you a break, Joffa? No. We hate you too. It can’t happen can it? We can’t have Abbott as PM and Collingwood as premiers all in the one year can we? It’s enough to make you want to move … to New Zealand.

Geelong v Carlton : I’m tempted to tip the upset – Carlton won by 9 goals earlier this year – but …..

St Kilda v Richmond : I can’t see the Saints dropping this, even though it doesn’t really matter.

Hawthorn v Fremantle : Freo have rested half their side and have already conceded defeat here. All they want to do is to finish 5th or 6th and get a home final.

Collingwood v Adelaide : I hope they keep playing like maniacs and burn out by the finals.

Sydney v Bulldogs : The Bullies have blown it and must know there’s nothing left to play for.

Pt Adelaide v Melbourne : The Dees don’t win in Adelaide.

Essendon v Brisbane : I got robbed last week when Brown was a late withdrawal. But he’s back for his 200th and that will be enough to get the Lions home.

West Coast v Nth Melbourne : Harvey’s 300th. Says it all against the useless Eagles.
