Oh BTW – hope you had a great Easter – the town seemed busy
The council is going for a record, Andrew, and if they achieve it I think it might be something no other council in this State has ever achieved. Not in the current era. That’s all I can say, until, oh, maybe late Friday.
Easter? There was effectively no Easter for Bright this year because it fell at a time when we are flat out anyway. For us it’s better if Easter is earlier. Having Anzac Day in the middle of Easter also meant we doubled up two holiday periods and got only one.
Anyway we can’t control that but we sure could have controlled the stuff up someone (read BrightCofC) has made by holding Gala Day on Mother’s Day weekend. There’s not much interest in it. Dumb timing – they should have the parade on this Saturday, not May 7th.
