A post about nothing

Seeing that no one has commented on my last cutting-edge post about carbon tax  (written two days ago), I might as well write about nothing at all, and see how that goes. Over to you.

    According to Wikipedia “Nothing is a concept that describes the absence of anything: no thing. Colloquially, the concept is often used to indicate the lack of anything relevant or significant, or to describe a particularly unimportant thing, event, or object. It is contrasted with something and everything. Nothingness is the state of being nothing,[1] the state of nonexistence of anything, or the property of having nothing.”

    I tend to think it’s what the Conservative Coalition is all about, Nothing.

    Well, Well, Nothing doing eh,I thought there was a “bloody “lot of things to comment about. “OOPS”is that a swear word? Icould be up for $250 for that ,if the “toy tyrannical government of Vic ” achieves its goal of setting in place this amount as a fine for saying “bugga”just accidently bump someone in the supermarket or when you trip over a shopping basket or perhaps drop your opened purse.Shxt ,I am now up for $750 if it happens that a policeman is within hearing.Welcome to the great Victorian “Nanny State”Oh and incidently I recieved an email today that explains that OSAMA Bin LADEN has now been listed dead 9 times since september 11-01.Seems like the feline species has now got serious competition.Have a nice day discussing all that K”Bosh”

    Rox, I’m on a roll here with my ‘post about nothing’.

    Kevin, very funny – that made me laugh. But I think (not sure) the law against swearing will depend on the context. You know, drunken yobbos at the footy yelling out “Get f*cked you white maggot c*nt” in earshot of families might attract a fine. And so it should. I don’t think swearing in good humour will be penalised. At least I hope not. Then again, this is Baillieu at his best, isn’t it? Doing nothing. He should comment here too.

    Maybe you should comment on this quote from page 23 of the shire’s budget: {Anticipated additional cost of the restructure which is expected to be 2.2% or $200,000.} 200k to go from five senior managers to 3 directors, two of them existing senior managers and the 3rd director yet to be found. Great use of our ratepayers money don’t you think?

    Yes, Angus, I’ve saved a copy of the 2011/12 budget and I intend to post about it soon.

    Your point is valid but I’d be more concerned about the loss-making Visitors Centre in Bright. They are paying more in salaries than what they are bringing in. Why does the VIC need an executive manager employed at a cost (all up) of at least $100,000?
