An early Spring @ GG in Bright

Officially it’s still winter but for the last week or so we’ve had great Spring weather and it looks like the winter is well and truly over. I went around the property earlier this week and took these photos just to prove it to you. Well, and to post about it on the Grevillea Gardens website  too. Yeah, you’re right – this is another blatant plug for GG. So what? More photos over the page – click on “more” (and click on each image to enlarge):

.

The Camelias near the office door are about to go berserk.

.

Majestic Magnolias - can't beat 'em.

.

Well, the Jonquils & Daffodils are pretty hard to beat too.

To come: Grevilleas, Azaleas, Dogwoods & Irises. Looks like a great year.

So … where the bloody hell are you?

Well Rox, the azaleas are not out yet but this post I’ve written @ GG shows last year’s display:

Things are looking up thanks Ray – I don’t have a brain tumour and I didn’t have a stroke. (They did, however, FIND a brain)

    Ophthalmologist next.

It makes me admire Greg even more than I did. Hope you’re OK today Greg.

Good to hear that, Rox. And good to hear that they found your brain (mine’s gone missing too, should I get a scan?)

Greg would be feeling okay after last night, Rox. How good do Collingwood look? And how the hell can anyone beat them? It’s sickening!

I’m getting a bit fonder of the Pies.

Speaking of looking good, Bright certainly does.

“I’m getting a bit fonder of the Pies.”

Oh no, you do have brain issues after all.

Yes, it’s clearly Spring up here already. The snow is all but gone from the mountains and there’s even pollen in the air (good to get that out of the way now). Sounds like you need a little escape yourself, Rox. Door’s open.

I blush to tell you I’m going to Brisbane for a fortnight in October to see my brother. Per
